Shanghai Lights
This piece is inspired by all the lights, for example traffic lights and car lights that are reflected onto the roads in Shanghai in the reflective state once it has rained. The influence of the urban landscape was taken whilst Emma went out there for research and a flaneuse that used her experience and travels for inspiration.
 
This original digital embroidered piece is based on a stretched framed where you are also able to see the background and have it either held up onto the wall or placed into two brackets that can be stood up on the floor or table.
This  piece is sewn into using Maderia thread and into a dark indigo faux leather.
